destock’s review is excellent. I too noticed the discrepancy in the image after I received the cover. Currently, I have it installed in what must be the correct way, and the cover does indeed flip down and under. It does seem wrong that the logo is upside down though when closed. While you can physically use the band to help it stay open when the flap is folded back under, it feels cumbersome placing the band around it. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
My only real concern was that the corner bands, that hold the kindle in, don’t seem to go over the corners as much as in the pictures. It still holds it snugly, but I wish it went over the corner more.

|Good Quality, Misleading Product Images,
I was so excited to receive my leather folio, and it certainly is a quality product. The leather is soft, and the grooves for propping up your kindle are deep- the stand feels secure and sturdy, and my device feels protected whether it is standing or folded in the case. I was also pleased to see that this case is comfortable to hold in the hand, not too bulky or thick for my taste. The bungee cord that holds the device closed feels strong, tight, and secure.
There is only one flaw that I am immediately disturbed by, and that is the discrepancy between the images of the kindle in this case and the reality of the positioning of the device. It is impossible to insert the kindle so that it will be upright both while the case is held and while the case is popped up and standing. In order for the kindle to be oriented correctly when the stand is in use, the case will close up- meaning that the folio cover will collapse and the bungee cord will hold the opening of the folio at the top of the kindle. I’m not yet sure how much this will bother me. As of right now, I have been using the case ‘upside down’ so that the stand feature will be easily functional- I don’t want to have to flip the kindle or change the screen orientation every time I need to use the stand. However, it kills me that the logo is upside down, and I feel that the case is less comfortable to hold when the cover is folded ‘down and around’ as opposed to ‘up and over.’
Overall, this is a nice case that seems like it will have a long lifespan and will protect my device, but I can’t get past my frustration with what I perceive as a flaw in product design.
